The Finance team is a crucial aspect of New America’s central services group; providing support to our programs and leadership on day to day fiscal matters as well as grant budgeting, reporting, and analysis. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Finance Team in the capacity of the Junior Grants Analyst. The ideal candidate is a resourceful relationship builder who is highly detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities within a tight timeline.
About the position:
Reporting to the Director of Budget, Grants, and Reporting, the Junior Grants Analyst oversees the fiscal aspects of both private and public grants accepted by New America. This position is responsible for providing operational support within the Finance department to serve New America’s wider organizational needs regarding the administration of the Grants Management process. Additionally, this position supports the Finance department through the preparation and dissemination of monthly programmatic financial statements, and budget review, development, management, and maintenance.

Training and Capacity Building
PRINCIPLE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: The Junior Grants Analyst will work frequently with finance personnel, NA program managers and their units, program personnel with and without an accounting or grant management background, a diverse group of grantors, and auditors.
