New America—an innovative nonprofit policy institute in the heart of Washington, D.C.—is seeking a candidate with an exceptional eye for detail with a strong interest in communications, content publishing, media monitoring, and analytics for our paid communications internship. (This is a remote/telework position as our offices are temporarily closed due to the pandemic.)
The communications intern will assist with proofreading, editing, and publishing website content, as well as tracking, measuring, and communicating the impact of New America’s research and communications products and media coverage.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, a proactive communicator on and offline, has excellent proofreading skills, and has some experience or interest in public policy, media relations, publishing, or journalism.
